About:
Resumes are looked at for an average of 7 seconds for consideration. They need to show your value quickly and no onus should be left for the reader to infer your qualifications as it relates directly to the job you want.
You also need to be able to understand how to talk about your value and what makes you qualified for the position once your resume gets an upgrade. After 100’s of conversations with job seekers, I find most are too humble, don’t know how to connect to all the great skills they already possess to an employer, or how to target the role they want. This piece of the puzzle is the sweet spot to convey to potential employers what you bring to the position(s) you want.
Our time together here will give you the language to support you on your journey to more quickly show you are the right candidate. If you just get a resume upgrade and don’t have the narrative to support you in conversations, it will be hard for employers to connect with why you are the right fit for the role.

STEP 1:
Initial Consultation (Half Hour) - We start with a video call to discuss your current resume and understand your career journey, strengths, and goals.
The output: A starting point and an understanding of what makes you unique, how to reflect that in your resume. You’ll be given homework to start elaborating on the value you bring to elevate your resume
STEP 2:
Intensive Work Session (90 Minutes) - After completion of the initial homework, we’ll do an intense work session and go through your work history, and I’ll help you capture the important parts of your experience and story. I find this is one of the single most valuable ways to get great fuel in someone’s job search arsenal: When you have the opportunity to talk openly about your experiences, things you accomplished, achieved, and have done poor out far more easily than sitting in solitude trying to write it yourself. This is gold I capture in this session.
The output: Provide the language for a values summary for your resume, a value proposition for your elevator pitch, and a clear understanding of how to complete your resume to tailor your assets for your target role.
STEP 3:
Resume Crafting: After our call, you will have the tools to finish your resume, and if you choose the package that Radiant Firefly completes your resume, I’ll provide a deadline by which I’ll finish it by.
The output: A resume and deeper insights to your professional story that allows potential employers to immediately connect to your value.
STEP 4:
In-Depth Resume Finalization & LinkedIn optimization (1 Hour): I will thoroughly review your resume with you, providing detailed recommendations, tips, and advice to finalize it into a compelling story. We will also work on tips to apply to your LinkedIn profile, talk more deeply about your value proposition (elevator pitch), and strategize your next steps for connecting with your next job.
The output: A finalized resume, clear direction on LinkedIn optimization, and more confident narrative to talk about yourself, and a strategic plan for seeking out your next role.

Yes, I can help you with mock interviews! When I work with clients on their interview skills I hone in on making sure they are telling good stories, inferring their value, and putting proof in everything they say. (ex: Tell me about a strength you have. What is the strength and back it up with how that’s benefited you in the work space). Many interviewers are too vague and leave interviewers questioning what they bring to the table. I’m driven to help you make a great first impression and get you taken seriously as a candidate through mock interview practice.
